Age-Limit Punjab Police SI Recruitment 2021:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not More Than 28 Years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable as given below –
SC/ST/BC candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
Ex-servicemen will be given a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit along with the number of years of service rendered by them in the Indian Defense Forces.
5 years relaxation in upper age limit will be given to serving government employees (State Government or Central Government) but they should not have attained the age of 33 years as on January 1, 2021.

Educational Qualification Punjab Police SI Recruitment 2021 :
(i) Sub-Inspector (District Police Cadre) :- Candidate must be a graduate or its equivalent from a recognized university
(ii) Sub-Inspector (Intelligence Cadre) :- Graduate from a recognized University or Institute, as the case may be, provided such candidate also possesses ‘O’ level certificate of Information Technology from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (earlier called DOEACC) needed.
or
Computer Science from a recognized University or Institute, or Graduate with Computer Applications: or Information Technology as one of the elective subjects during the entire period of graduation
or
B.Sc/ B.Tech/ B.E in Information Technology, or Computer Science; or Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering; or information systems; or computer networking; or data science; or software engineering; or BCA; OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute, as the case may be
(iii) Sub-Inspector (Armed Police Cadre) :- Candidate must be a graduate or its equivalent from a recognized university.
(iv) Sub-Inspector (Investigation Police Cadre) :- Candidate must be a graduate or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Selection Process Punjab Police SI Recruitment 2021 :
The written test will be conducted before the Physical Screening Test (PST).
Only those candidates who qualify the written test will be eligible for Physical Screening Test (PST), which will be of qualifying nature. No marks will be awarded for PST but all candidates must pass the prescribed fitness trial event
Merit will be prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in computer based written examination
