Age-Limit OIL Junior Assistant Recruitment 2021:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not More Than 30 Years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable as given below –
1. Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them. ST,SC :35 Years and OBC: 33 Years.
2. Upper age is relaxed by 10 years to PWD candidates in the specified disabilities only as mentioned below (up to 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer PWD Candidates).

Educational Qualification OIL Junior Assistant Recruitment 2021 :
(i) Passed 10+2 in any stream from Government Recognized Board/ University with 40% marks.
(ii) Passed Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application of minimum 06 (six) months duration and should be fully conversant with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, etc.
Selection Process OIL Junior Assistant Recruitment 2021 :
Qualified candidates will be called for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
# The question paper of Computer Based Test (CBT) will have 3 (three) sections: viz. (a) English Language and General Knowledge/Awareness with some questions on Oil India Limited; (b) Reasoning, Arithmetic/ Numerical and Mental ability and (c) Relevant technical knowledge in the course syllabus depending on the post.
# There will be no negative marking in Computer Based Test (CBT).
# Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English and Assamese.
# The total duration of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (Two) hours.
In the final merit list for selection, if more than one candidate has equal marks in Computer Based Test (CBT), preference will be given to the candidate securing more marks in Part-C of Computer Based Test (CBT). If the marks in Part-C are equal, then the candidate who has scored more marks in Part-B will be given preference. If the marks are same in Part-B also, then the candidate with older age in the final merit list will be given preference.
