Salary :
Level- 2 OR Level- 3 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission, GP- 1900/2000
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on 01/01/2023. No relaxation will be admissible in the lower or upper age limit.
Proof of age i.eMatriculation certificate issued by a recognized board or equivalent should be produced.
Educational Qualification :
For appointment in grade pay Rs. 1900/2000 (Level-2 or Level-3 as per Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission): Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational qualification should be from a Govt. Recognized Board / Council / Institute etc. (Minimum educational qualification should be applicable for the post offered for NTPC posts).
Note: The minimum educational qualification for appointment under Sports Quota in Technician-III is 10th pass. However, the training period for such Sports Quota appointments will be 03 (three) years, unless they possess/pass ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
Minimum Sports Criteria for Recruitment:
# Represented the country in any Category-B Championship/Event
# or at least 3rd place in any Category-C Championship/Event
# or at least 3rd place in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championship
# OR At least third place in the National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR
# At least 3rd place in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities or 1st Position in Federation Cup Championship (Senior Division)

# Two recent (taken within the last two months) passport size photographs by the candidate in their own handwriting on good quality A-4 size plain paper as per the application format given in Annexure-A by the candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Must apply with Duly self attested without any wig, cap or colored glasses. The application should be duly filled and signed by the candidate in his own handwriting.
