Eligibility Criteria ITBP Constable Recruitment 2022
(i) Constable (Motor Mechanic)
No. of Post : 128 ( UR:54, EWS:13, OBC:33, ST: 10, SC:18 )
(ii) Post Name : Head Constable (Motor Mechanic)
No. of Post : 58 ( UR:26, EWS:06, OBC:14, ST: 04, SC:08 )
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 30 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 28 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Salary Details :
(i) Constable (Motor Mechanic) : Pay Level-3 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 21,700/- To 69,100/- (as per 7th CPC)
(ii Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) : Pay Level-4 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 25,500/- To 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC)

Educational Qualification :
(A) Constable (Motor Mechanic) :
(i) Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institute; And
(ii) Certificate of Industrial Training Institute in the relevant trade from a recognized Institute; either
(iii) Three years experience in the relevant trade from a recognized firm.
(B) Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) :
(i) 10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institute.
(ii) Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized Institute or Industrial Training Institute with three years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or three years Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
