The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the exam date for the recruitment of Social Security Assistants (SSA) and Stenographers in the renowned Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Mark your calendars as the EPFO SSA written exam is scheduled to take place on 18th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd August 2023. Additionally, the EPFO Stenographer Exam date has been set for 1st August 2023.

Eligibility Criteria EPFO Recruitment 2023
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years of age as on 01/01/2023.
Age Relaxation:The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
(iii By 10 years for PWD candidates .

Educational Qualification :
(I) Social Security Assistant (SSA) :
- Bachelor Degree From a Recognized University.
- A Typing Test of 35 WPM. in English or 30 WPM. in Hindi on Computer.
(II) Stenographer :
- 12th Class Passed from a Recognized Board.
- Dictation : 10 Minutes @ 80 WPM.
- Transcription : 50 Minutes (English) / 65 Minutes (Hindi) on Computer.

Selection Process EPFO Recruitment 2023
- Phase-1 (Computer Based Test ).
- Computer Skill Test.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
SSA Exam Pattern 2023
Phase-1 (Computer Based Test ).
- Each question shall have 4 marks each.
- The marks obtained in Phase–I will be considered for final selection on merit.
- For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
- English comprehension shall be objective.
- Total marks 600.
- Time Duration: 02 Hours 30 Minutes (150 Minutes)
- The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase-I.

Computer Skill Test.
- Candidates will be required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work.
- A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work.
- Candidates short-listed for Skill Test will have to appear for a Skill Test.
- NOTE: Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.
Stenographer Exam Pattern 2023
- Each question shall have 4 marks each.
- Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except part-III i.e. English Language and Comprehension.
- The marks obtained in Phase – I will be considered for final selection on merit.
- For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
- Total marks 800
- Total Duration :- 2 Hours 10 minutes (130 minutes)

The candidates who are shortlisted in the Phase-I Examination will be required to appear in the Skill Test for Stenography. Time allotted is as under:
- Dictation: Ten minutes at the rate of eighty words per minute. (Dictation will be computer based).
- Transcription: Fifty minutes (English) / Sixty-five minutes (Hindi). (Only on computer).
- Note:- Skill Test in Stenography will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit

Step 1: Scroll down, go to the Important web-links section.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ form link.
Step 3: A new Webpage will open.
Step 4: Enter all your personal and educational details as required.
Step 5: Upload your passport size photograph and signature and other required documents.
Step 6: Pay the Application Fee as per your category and finally click on the submit button.
Step 7: Don’t forget to take the Print of the submitted application form.
EPFO Recruitment Important Dates 2023?
Recruitment dates of EPFO posts are released on the official website with all the required information, except admit cards and exam dates. The notification will be released on March 20 2023, and the dates for the online application forms start from 27th March 2023, and the last date for the online application form is 26th April 2023. In recruitment, it is also very important to check the number of vacancies, and it is 2859. The last process of selection includes interviews. The dates are not mentioned for that.
