Assam CEE Exam 2025: The Govt. of Assam organizes the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission into various B.Tech. programs in the engineering colleges of Assam. The CEE for the year 2025 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). The official notification for CEE 2025 has been released by ASTU for admission into B.Tech. programs for the Academic Session 2025-2026 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Exam Name: CEE-2025 for Bachelor of Technology
Conducted By: Assam Science and Technology University
Exam Type: Entrance Examination (OMR)
Exam Date: 27th April 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 11 AM to 2 PM
Exam Centres: Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Guwahati, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, Silchar, Tezpur
Syllabus: Based on the Assam State School Education Board, Division –II (Higher Secondary Division)
Total Questions: 120 MCQs
Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for every wrong answer, 4 marks awarded for correct answers (even if more than one answer is selected).

Eligibility Criteria:-
Age Limit:
The candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of registration to participate in CEE. There is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in single sitting, without any grace marks in the Mandatory of the relevant subjects/ courses at 10+2 level and also must be passed individually both in Theory & Practical as mentioned below.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates are required to achieve a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standards) as per the guidelines outlined in the AICTE Approval Process Handbook-2024-2027.

Candidates who have successfully completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology from the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, must have obtained at least 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the Final Diploma Examination.
Application Fee:
- General Candidates: Rs. 1350/- Rupees.
- OBC Candidates: Rs. 1350/- Rupees.
- EWS Candidates: Rs. 1350/- Rupees.
- ST Candidates: Rs. 1350/- Rupees.
- SC Candidates: Rs. 1350/- Rupees.
Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their examination fees through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
