PRC Apply Online Assam: Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) is issued by the Deputy Commissioner of the district as per the guidelines, procedures, time limit. Permanent residence certificate is used for admission in educational institutions. Certificate of Permanent Residence is the proof of permanent residence of a person in a particular state.
As per the provision and rules, there is some eligibility to apply for permanent resident certificate.
Eligibility Criteria PRC
The eligibility criteria to apply for Permanent Resident Certificate are as follows:
# Applicants must be an Indian citizen.
# The applicant’s parents or ancestors should have permanent residence in the state of Assam for at least 50 years.
# The applicant should be residing in the state of Assam for at least 20 years.
# If an applicant fulfills all the above eligibility then he/she can also apply for his/her child.

Govt. fee for submission of online application
# Service charge = Rs. 30
# Printing fee = Rs.10.00 per page
# Scanning Charge = Rs. 5.00 per page
PRC Documents required
- (i) Upload hard copy of the User Form ( ইউজাৰ ফৰ্ম খন সংলগ্ন কৰা )
- (ii) One passport size photo (একপি পাছপোৰ্ট আকাৰৰ ফটো )
- (iii) Records of Immovable Property, if any, with up-to-date Land Revenue Paid
- receipt. ( যিকোনো স্থাবক সম্পৰ্তিৰ ৰেকৰ্ড বা নতুন খাজনা ৰচিদ )
- (iv) Copy of Indian Passport or Certified copy of the NRC 1951.( ভাৰতীয় প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ বা NRC ৰ প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ ).
- (v) Certified copy of the voters list to check the linkage ( সংযোগ পৰীক্ষা কৰিবলৈ ভোটাৰ তালিকাৰ প্ৰতিলিপি )
- (Vi) Copy of PRC of any member of the applicant’s family stating the relationship, if any ( আৱেদনকাৰীৰ পৰিয়ালৰ যিকোনো সদস্যৰ পিআৰচিৰ প্ৰতিলিপি, সম্পৰ্কটো উল্লেখ কৰা, যদি থাকে )
- (vii) Copy of Birth Certificate issued by Competent Authority ( জন্ম প্ৰমাণপত্ৰৰ প্ৰতিলিপি )
- (viii) Copy of HSLC Certificate/Admit Card (হাইস্কুল শিক্ষান্ত পৰীক্ষাৰ প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ নাইবা এডমিট কাৰ্ডৰ ফটোকপি ).
- (ix) Documents related to parents and forefathers having continuously resided in Assam for a minimum period of 50 years or Documents related to guardian having continuously resided in Assam for a minimum period of 20 years. ( পিতৃ – মাতৃ অৰ্থবা পূৰ্ব – পুৰুষৰ অসমত একেৰাহে নূন্যতম 50 বছৰ স্থায়ীভাৱে বসবাস কৰাৰ নথি নাইবা অভিভাৱকৰ নূন্যতম 20 বছৰ স্থায়ীভাৱে একেৰাহে বসবাস কৰাৰ নথি পত্ৰ থাকিব লাগিব )
- (x) Upload One Address proof documents of Self or Parent’s. (Voters Card/Aadhaar Card/Ration Card/Electricity Bill/LPG Bill/Passport/Bank Passbook/Driving License ( ঘৰৰ ঠিকনা থকা এটা প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ )
- (xi) গাঁও বুঢ়া প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ.
- (xii) Employment Certificate issued by the employer showing joining in present place of posting, if any ( নিয়োগকৰ্তাই জাৰী কৰা নিযুক্তি প্ৰমাণপত্ৰত বৰ্তমানৰ পোষ্টিং স্থানত যোগদান কৰা দেখুওৱা হৈছে, যদি থাকে)
