Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 27 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 32 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 30 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Salary Details :
Selected candidates will be placed on the pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 on the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- (E1 Grade). Other benefits like Dearness Allowance, other perquisites, and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. during training/post absorption will be admissible as per rules of the Company in force from time to time.

Educational Qualification :
Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, as per respective Institute/University norms (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2022.
A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of EET in the respective discipline:

Selection Process:
Candidates should appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2022. Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE-2022 performance.
Placement: Selected candidates will be given one year training at various locations. The final place of posting will be decided after the completion of training. The candidates can be placed in any project/station including subsidiaries/JV companies of NTPC for shift operation of power plants across the country and will have to work in shifts (including night shift). will apply for the post
