Eligibility Criteria of WBPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2022
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1st June 2022.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) Up to 5 years i.e. up to 32 years for SC/ ST candidates.
(ii) Up to 3 years i.e. up to 30 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates.
(iii) Up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD). However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) who fall under the category ‘Persons with Benchmark Disability’ will be eligible for cumulative age relaxation under both their respective categories.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates must have Passed Secondary Examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
(ii) Applicants should be able to speak, read and write Bengali language.

Candidates of all categories: 167 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 57 Weight (in kg), 78 cm chest (without expansion), 83 cm chest (with expansion – 5 cm.)
Gorkha, Garhwali, Rajbanshi and ST: 160 (Height (barefoot) (in cm)), 53 Weight (in kg), 76 cm Chest (without expansion), 81 cm Chest (with expansion – 5 cm.)
Female Constable:
Candidates of all categories: 160 (Height (barefoot) (in cm)), 49 Weight (in kg.)
Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and STs: 152 (Height (barefoot) (in cm)), 45 Weight (in kg.)
Selection Process for WBPRB Police Constable 2022
The post of Constable / Lady Constable in the Kolkata Police Shall be filled up o the basis of Qualifying the Preliminary Written Test Which will act as Screening Examination Followed by the Physical measurement Test (PMT) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination and Interview to be Conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
